Imagining the Future of Food in Cities: The Accessible City

Liberty Community Garden, Battery Park City

This event is posted on behalf of the Academy of Urbanism’s Young Urbanist Network, who are hosting an event called “Imagining the Future of Food in Cities: The Accessible City” on Thursday evening, June 26th, starting at 18:00 and finishing around 20:30.

The second in a series of three events, it explores issues and ideas around improving access to food in cities and how we can collaboratively build a more inclusive system of urban nourishment. Join them for drinks and food as we explore and open up debates concerning the opportunities and challenges of food access in cities. Speakers will share their experiences with urban food access in short presentations, followed by a Q&A session.

You can find more details about the second event here.  Please note that the event is free for Young Urbanist members and £8 for non-members. Tickets can be booked here.

The venue is The Gallery on the ground floor at 70 Cowcross Street, London EC1M 6EJ (nearest tube station is Farringdon).
